Chandigarh, June 2

A nightclub in Chandigarh linked to rapper-singer Badshah has been sealed by authorities over alleged violations of administrative and building regulations.
Officials said the Enforcement Wing of the Chandigarh Administration took action against the Sector 26 club, citing repeated breaches of norms despite earlier notices issued to the management.
The authorities said the club failed to provide a satisfactory response to the notices, and subsequent inspections revealed multiple deficiencies, leading to its sealing on Tuesday.

Sources said Badshah is believed to have a stake in the club Sago, though the singer has not issued any statement on the matter so far.
Police sources also indicated that several irregularities were identified during the inspection of the disco. Officials added that similar action has recently been taken against two to three other clubs in the Sector 26 area for alleged violations, while notices have been served to several more establishments. So far, only one club has been sealed, with authorities continuing their enforcement drive against nightlife venues in the city. The North News will update the story as and when it receives a response from Badshah.
