In a significant breakthrough, the Punjab Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), in collaboration with Maharashtra Police, has apprehended Akash Gill, a Fazilka resident, for his alleged involvement in the murder of Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said, “Preliminary investigations have revealed that Akash Gill is an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and provided logistical support to the shooters involved in this heinous crime.
“This successful operation underscores the seamless cooperation between Punjab and Maharashtra police forces, highlighting our unwavering commitment to public safety and justice.Gill has been handed over to Mumbai Police for further legal proceedings,” the Punjab DGP said in his post on X previously known as Twitter.
