Dr. Kiran Deep is the Editor-in-Chief of The North News, with nearly 25 years of experience across print, television, digital and social media. Known for fearless and impactful reporting, he has exposed drug and mining mafias in the region while consistently highlighting issues affecting ordinary people. His commitment to public Interest journalism runs deep from holding the powerful accountable to standing up for the environment, most powerfully captured in the acclaimed Save Black Buck documentary. He holds Ph.D in Social Media, Master’s in Mass Communication, and M.Sc (Honours) in Physics from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
