Anu Malik joins Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 as special judge

Renowned music composer, singer and songwriter Anu Malik will join Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 as a special judge for a few weeks, marking his fourth stint on the popular singing reality show.

Malik’s return comes as contestants continue to showcase their vocal abilities on the show, which celebrates Indian music and provides aspiring singers with a platform to demonstrate their talent.

The current season features Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan and Kumar Sanu as judges, while actor Shreyas Talpade hosts the programme.

Speaking about his return, Malik said his association with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa had brought back fond memories.

He said meeting young singers with passion and potential was always a joy and emphasised that singing was not just about sur and taal but also about the emotion conveyed through a song and its impact on listeners.

Malik also appreciated the show’s role in discovering and nurturing emerging musical talent.

He said he looked forward to experiencing the next generation of singers and being part of the musical celebration.

The season features a distinctive 360-degree set, with more than 100 musicians and chorus performers contributing to the performances.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 pm on Zee TV.
