Chandigarh:  The audio clip, circulating on social media,  allegedly claims responsibility for the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff. A man identified in a viral audio clip as Anil Pandit has allegedly claimed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and threatened to target people close to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The speaker reportedly said the actor had ignored warnings against working with Salman Khan. Police are verifying the claims.

The North News has not independently verified the audio or the claims made in it. The clip is under investigation. Pandit, reportedly aged 32 and originally from Panipat, is suspected of operating from the United States. He is also said to be linked to extortion cases in Pune, Haryana and Delhi. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis described the firing incident as serious and condemned the attack. He said Mumbai Police had obtained leads and identified some suspects, adding that arrests were expected soon.
While addressing the media, Fadnavis said the police would also pursue those suspected of masterminding the attack from outside Maharashtra or abroad. He added that a request had already been sent to take Lawrence Bishnoi into custody and that the legal process was under way.
He said Maharashtra Police would coordinate with other states and seek assistance from the central government to track down suspects operating overseas.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also condemned the incident, saying five rounds had been fired. He said the actor was safe but had sustained injuries to his left hand from gunpowder and broken glass. Shinde added that Tiger Shroff and his mother were shaken by the incident and assured them of the state government’s support.  Police have said the actor did not suffer any gunshot injury.
