Dhillon said district BJP presidents had been briefed on expanding the party’s reach and communicating its welfare policies. He said the meeting also reviewed the BJP’s Nasha Mukt Punjab campaign and discussed ways to expand its reach. Dhillon described the campaign as successful, saying it had received support from people, particularly mothers and women affected by drug abuse in their families.
The BJP has recently concluded its statewide anti-drug campaign ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly election.
