Runners to compete in 21.097-km, 10-km and 5-km races, besides a non-competitive fun run at Chandigarh Club on Sunday
Chandigarh: The 17th edition of the Punjab Half Marathon, organised by Thrill Zone, will be held on Sunday, i.e. on October 4, at Chandigarh Club in Sector 1, near the Chief Minister’s residence.
The event will begin at 5:30 am onwards and will feature four race categories, including a 21.097 km Half Marathon, 10 km Run, 5 km Run and 5 km Fun Run.
The 21.097 km Half Marathon will be a timed event with a cut-off time of three hours and 30 minutes.
The 10 km Run will also be timed, with participants required to complete the course within two hours. The 5 km Run will have a one-hour cut-off.
The 5 km Fun Run will be an untimed, non-competitive event and will have no strict time limit.
The marathon will be held at Chandigarh Club, Sector 1, Chandigarh, with the event organisers scheduling the races from 5:30 am onwards.
The Punjab Half Marathon is being organised by Thrill Zone and is in its 17th edition.
