‘Signed To God’ show to open in Toronto on October 9; official tour website lists India among planned markets

Four years after his death, the voice and stage presence of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala are set to return to audiences through a hologram world tour, with the first show of “Signed To God” scheduled in Toronto next month.

According to the official “Signed To God” website, the tour will feature three-dimensional holographic projections of Moosewala synchronised with his original vocals, along with cinematic visuals and stage effects. The project is being presented as a tribute to the singer and his musical legacy.

The first show is scheduled for October 9 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The venue’s official listing states that the show, originally scheduled for October 8, has been rescheduled to October 9 at 7 pm.

The tour carries a strong Punjab-to-global narrative. Its official website describes it as a journey “from Punjab to Toronto, London to LA”, reflecting the international reach of an artist who took Punjabi music, rural imagery and Punjabi identity to audiences far beyond the region.

The official tour website lists Canada, the US, India, the UAE, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan among the planned markets. It has not yet announced the dates and cities for the India leg, which are listed as “coming soon”.

The experience is built around holographic technology rather than a conventional tribute concert. The official website explains that three-dimensional projection, depth mapping and visual engineering will create the appearance of Moosewala performing on stage, with his original recordings synchronised with the visuals, lighting and sound.

The “Signed To God” project now seeks to extend that musical legacy into the live-concert space, with the official website describing the hologram experience as a way for fans to encounter his voice and stage presence again.

With the Toronto show confirmed by the venue and further markets listed by the tour organisers, the next major announcement is expected to be the dates and cities for the remaining legs, including India.
