New three-film campaign aims to turn idle gold into opportunities, with LTF expanding its Gold Loan presence across key markets

Chandigarh, August 20

L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF) has launched a new gold loan campaign in Chandigarh featuring brand ambassador Jasprit Bumrah, with the tagline “Koi Bhi Sapna Hold Mat Karo, L&T Finance Gold Loan Karo.” The campaign aims to build awareness of Gold Loan offerings and encourage individuals, households, and micro-entrepreneurs to unlock the value of idle gold to fund their aspirations.

The company has introduced three new television commercials as part of the campaign, which were launched during the India-Sri Lanka Test series beginning August 15, 2026. As the co-presenting partner of the series, LTF is promoting the campaign across television and on-ground platforms. The commercials are airing on Sony TV Broadcast Network’s nine linear television channels.

LTF Whole-time Director and COO Raju Dodti said Gold Loans are an important part of the company’s growth strategy under its Lakshya 2031 plan. He noted that the company’s secured Gold Loan portfolio grew 182% year-on-year to Rs 3,829 crore in Q1FY27, compared with Rs 1,360 crore in Q1FY26. The company currently operates 343 Gold Loan branches and plans to expand this number to more than 800 during the financial year.

LTF Chief Marketing Officer Kavita Jagtiani said the campaign aims to highlight gold as a trusted financial asset that can help consumers achieve their goals. She added that India’s large pool of idle household gold presents significant potential for financing aspirations.

According to LTF’s latest Gold Loan Study in Chandigarh, financial constraints have put several consumer aspirations on hold, including buying property, starting businesses, education, weddings, social events and home renovation. Around 32% of respondents expressed interest in Gold Loans, with 41% considering them to purchase land or property and 30% to start a new business.

The integrated campaign will cover key markets across eight states and a Union Territory through around 150 LTF branches. The company is also using transit branding, immersive branch promotions, local retail jingles, and regional digital creators to strengthen its presence across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
