Vikramjeet Singh wanted in a case involving illegal arms and a stolen car has been arrested by the STF in Panchkula

The Special Task Force (STF) Panchkula arrested wanted accused Vikramjeet Singh, a resident of Kakrali village in Dera Bassi, Punjab, in connection with a case registered at Raipur Rani police station involving illegal arms and a stolen car.
According to the STF, Singh was wanted in FIR No. 169, registered on September 26, 2025, under Sections 111(3), 111(4) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 25(6) of the Arms Act.
Police said Singh had allegedly provided a stolen A-Star car and a weapon to three accused — Anmol Kumar, Gurpreet alias Gopi and Munish Kumar alias Kala — for carrying out a crime, on the instructions of gangster Harsimran alias Simmu.
The STF said the three accused had earlier been arrested by the STF Ambala team from the Rampur area under Raipur Rani police station with one pistol, eight live rounds and a stolen car.
Singh was carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on his head announced by the Panchkula Police Commissionerate and was also on the target list of the STF Ambala, according to the press note.
The STF said a mobile phone was recovered from Singh. He was allegedly providing logistical support to the Bambiha gang. The investigation in the case is being conducted by the STF Unit Panchkula and further investigation is underway.
