Pinjore, August 7
Around five people were injured after a passenger-laden auto overturned near HUDA Sector on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road.
According to information received, the auto was carrying passengers from Khedawali towards Surajpur when the driver suddenly lost control near HUDA Sector. The vehicle hit a divider before overturning.
People present in the area immediately launched relief efforts and informed the health department. The injured were taken by ambulance to the Pinjore Urban Polyclinic Centre for treatment.
Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj of the Pinjore Urban Polyclinic Centre said an ambulance was immediately sent to the spot after the accident was reported and all the injured were brought to the health centre.
He said most of the passengers had suffered minor injuries and were provided primary treatment at the hospital.
A four-year-old girl, Khushi, sustained an injury and received two stitches. Auto driver Satbir and another injured person were referred to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, after primary treatment, considering their condition. They are undergoing treatment there.
