Manali is witnessing a sharp rise in tourist arrivals as people from various states head to the hill station to escape the scorching summer heat prevailing in the plains.

With the onset of June and rising temperatures across northern India, popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh, especially Manali, have become heavily crowded. Visitors are flocking to enjoy the cool weather and scenic valleys, bringing the tourism season to its peak.

Tourists reported significant relief from the heat and expressed satisfaction with the pleasant climate and natural beauty. However, the sudden surge in footfall has also led to traffic congestion at several key locations in the town.

Despite minor travel disruptions, tourists continue to enjoy their stay, spending time in the picturesque surroundings and experiencing a refreshing break from the heatwave.

Local tourism stakeholders confirm that the region is currently operating at full capacity. Hotel occupancy levels in Manali have reached 90-100 percent, indicating a strong peak-season rush. Business owners acknowledge that while tourism has boosted economic activity, traffic management remains a growing concern.

Authorities and locals expect the influx to continue throughout the summer season as more visitors plan hill-station getaways.
