The Punjab Kings IPL team has arrived in Dharamshala ahead of their upcoming matches, landing at Kangra Airport via a special chartered flight. The team is set to play its first match against Delhi Capitals on May 11 at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium.
Heavy security arrangements were deployed at the airport, and players were escorted to Dharamshala under tight police protection. A large number of cricket fans gathered at the airport to get a glimpse of their favorite stars.
Located against the scenic backdrop of the snow-covered Dhauladhar mountains, the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium will host three important matches for the Punjab Kings. After facing the Delhi Capitals, the team will take on the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in subsequent fixtures.
According to reports, the Punjab Kings squad is expected to stay in Dharamshala for an extended period. During their stay, players will take part in practice sessions and finalise preparations for the upcoming IPL matches.
The stadium, known as the Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium, is widely admired for its picturesque setting and a pitch that often supports fast bowlers, making it a favorite venue for players and fans alike.
