After days of unseasonal rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, residents are now facing fresh fear amid a series of landslides reported across the state. A landslide struck a building in the Bandrol area of Kullu district, raising concerns about nearby structures, including a hotel located close to the site. The affected building was still under construction when it was impacted by the landslide.
According to reports, the incident took place near Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bandrol. Following the landslide, local residents evacuated an adjacent building as a precautionary measure. The back-to-back incidents of rain, snowfall, and now landslides in April have increased anxiety among residents, who fear that the situation could become even more dangerous during the upcoming monsoon season. Authorities are keeping a close watch on the area as the risk to nearby buildings and the hotel remains.
