Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief over the death of Tejas fighter jet pilot Naman Syal, who was killed in a crash during the Dubai Airshow. Syal hailed from Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh.
Calling the news “extremely tragic and heartbreaking”, Sukhu said the country had lost a brave and dedicated officer who served with courage and commitment.
He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to Syal’s “indomitable valour, sense of duty and service to the nation.”
