Himachal Pradesh BJP president Dr Rajeev Bindal met the party’s national president, J P Nadda, in New Delhi on Wednesday, party officials said. The meeting took place at Parliament House during Dr Bindal’s second day of his visit to the national capital. According to a statement, the Himachal BJP leader thanked Nadda on behalf of the state party unit for his recent visit to Shimla to attend the foundation stone-laying and ground-breaking ceremony of the BJP’s state-level office.
Dr Bindal also expressed gratitude to the BJP chief for participating in what the party described as a historic felicitation ceremony in Shimla, saying the event had boosted the morale of lakhs of party workers across the state. The BJP leader said the meeting also included informal discussions on a range of organisational matters and key issues related to Himachal Pradesh.
