Punjab Police have busted a target killing module linked to foreign-based gangster Goldy Dhillon, arresting two operatives in Rajpura, Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said on Friday. The arrested suspects, Malkit Singh alias Max and Sandeep Singh alias Deep, were found in possession of five pistols—including three .32 caliber, one .30 caliber, and one .315 caliber country-made firearm—along with 15 cartridges and 1,300 intoxicant tablets. Their black Honda Activa scooter was also seized.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the duo, wanted in extortion cases, had been instructed by Dhillon to carry out assassinations in Mohali and Rajpura. Both have extensive criminal records, including cases under the NDPS Act, Arms Act, and charges related to extortion, dacoity, and attempted murder.

Patiala Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nanak Singh said police intercepted the suspects on Sirhind-Rajpura road while they were allegedly en route to deliver narcotics before executing a targeted killing. Further investigations are underway, with authorities expecting more arrests.
