India and Singapore will hold the third round of their ministerial roundtable in New Delhi on August 13 to explore ways to deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Tuesday. The India–Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) will bring together senior ministers from both countries, including India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, and Railways and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Singapore will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister Gan Kim Yong, National Security and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam, Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Digital Development and Information Minister Josephine Teo, Manpower Minister Tan See Leng, and Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow. The ISMR, launched in 2022 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, aims to set the agenda for cooperation in areas including trade, technology, security, and human capital. The first meeting was held in New Delhi, followed by a second in Singapore in 2024.
