Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in Beijing on Monday to discuss key issues, including a potential meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazan. The two officials also explored avenues for resuming practical cooperation and marked the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and India, according to a Chinese readout.
