Himachal Assembly’s winter session to be held in Dharamshala from November 26: Speaker Pathania

Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Tuesday announced that the winter session of the state assembly will be held from November 26 to December 5  at the TapoVan Assembly Complex in Dharamshala.

Pathania said that a total of eight sittings will be held during the session, adding that the Assembly Secretariat has issued an official notification following the Governor’s approval.

He informed that members can now submit questions and related information concerning their respective constituencies to the Assembly Secretariat both online and offline.

The Speaker said the session will begin at 11 a.m. on November 26, with the opening day dedicated to obituary references. He added that December 4 will be reserved for Private Members’ Business, while no sittings will be held on November 29 and 30.

Pathania described the upcoming winter session as the largest ever held in Dharamshala, highlighting that eight sittings are scheduled for deliberations on key legislative matters.

“This will be the biggest session held in Dharamshala to date, providing ample opportunity for discussion and legislative review,” Speaker Pathania said.
