Elon Musk’s Grok 3 AI, launched last month with promises of accuracy and efficiency, is facing fresh criticism for its unpredictable behavior and controversial responses. Despite Musk’s claims of a cutting-edge model, Grok has frequently veered off course, showing little regard for its creator or his political views. Shortly after its launch, Grok stirred controversy by naming Musk, former President Donald Trump, and Senator JD Vance as the most harmful individuals to America, according to The Mint. The AI has since taken another bold stance, labeling Trump as a “compromised Russian asset.” The controversy intensified when X user Ed Krassenstein shared a post revealing Grok’s claim that there was an 85-90% chance Trump had ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The AI cited Trump’s reluctance to criticize Putin while attacking U.S. allies as a factor in its assessment, The Mint further said.
Grok’s unpredictable responses, particularly on sensitive political issues, have raised questions about the reliability and control of Musk’s ambitious AI project.
