Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor invite you to explore the answer in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan
A man in sunglasses.
A woman blindfolded.
Two strangers.
And one unexpected connection.
In the newly released teaser for Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a romance directed by Santosh Singh, the screen quietly hums with the possibility of love — not loud, not flashy, but tender and mysterious. Vikrant Massey’s calm presence meets Shanaya Kapoor’s debut spark in a story that isn’t just about falling in love — it’s about trusting it without ever seeing it.
The teaser doesn’t give much away — and that’s precisely the point.
We see moments: a chance encounter, soft smiles, unspoken tension. A question lingers throughout the frames — if love is blind, then what do we really see in another person?
Set to Vishal Mishra’s evocative score, the teaser leaves behind more questions than answers. But one line stays with you:
“So, would it be fair to say love is blind?” Vikrant’s voice asks gently, as the screen fades to black.
The Buzz Begins
While the film marks Shanaya Kapoor’s first step into the world of cinema, she’s not alone. With her family and friends cheering from the sidelines, the excitement is palpable. Her father, Sanjay Kapoor, simply wrote “Jai Mata Di,” while her mother, Maheep, dropped hearts. Navya Nanda couldn’t hold back her joy: “Wohoooo Shan!!!”
Online, fans are already speculating: is this a modern adaptation of The Eyes Have It by Ruskin Bond? Is Shanaya the next Kapoor to watch?
What’s Next?
Presented by Zee Studios and Mini Films, and produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is set to release on July 11. This is just the beginning for Shanaya, who also stars in Vrushabha opposite Mohanlal (October 16 release) and Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav, coming next Valentine’s Day.
But for now, all eyes — or maybe just hearts — are on this gentle, musical love story.
