The US has suspended all military aid to Ukraine, blocking billions of dollars in critical shipments, After days of heated exchanges between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US media reported, citing a White House official. The suspension stops the transfer of ammunition, vehicles, and other equipment, including shipments previously agreed upon under the former US President Biden administration. The decision came after a tense Oval Office meeting on Friday, where Trump warned Zelenskyy he was “gambling with” a third world war and told the Ukrainian leader to return “when he is ready for peace.”

U.S.-Ukraine relations hit a dramatic low last week during a highly charged, televised confrontation in the White House. Trump abruptly cut short Zelenskyy’s visit, initially intended to discuss a peace plan, leaving without a signed mineral-rights deal. Following the clash, Trump took to social media, accusing Zelenskyy of disrespecting the United States and suggesting the Ukrainian president was trying to exploit American involvement in negotiations with Russia.

“He can come back when he is ready for Peace,” Trump wrote. In a follow-up post, he added, “Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE.”
