In a shocking twist to the earlier reports surrounding Saif Ali Khan’s hospitalisation, it has been confirmed that his son, Taimur, not his elder son Ibrahim, was the one who accompanied the actor to the hospital following a stabbing incident at his residence. Initial reports had claimed that Ibrahim Ali Khan was the one who escorted his father to the hospital after Saif was attacked by an intruder who attempted to commit a burglary. However, addressing the media during a press conference, Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, corrected this information. He revealed that it was, in fact, 7-year-old Taimur who accompanied Saif to the hospital.

Uttamani further shared that despite the severe injury, which involved six stab wounds, Saif managed to walk into the hospital, with one knife part dangerously close to his spinal cord. “He was brave, despite the bleeding,” the doctor added. Luckily, the actor arrived in time, and the medical team was able to attend to him promptly.Doctors have confirmed that Saif has been moved from the ICU to a special room. However, they have placed restrictions on visitors to prevent any potential infections.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have detained a suspect linked to the stabbing of Saif during a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence early Thursday. The incident has shocked the Bollywood community, with police forming 20 teams to track the attacker using informants and technical data.

Jeh’s nanny, Eliyama Philip, first encountered the armed intruder, who demanded Rs 1 crore during the attack. Philip stated that she was sleeping in the children’s room and awoke around 2 a.m. to find a man moving toward the sleeping child. She intervened but was injured on her wrist by the intruder wielding a Hexa blade and a wooden stick. Saif Ali Khan sustained six injuries, including two deep wounds, one near his spinal cord, while trying to protect his family.

The attacker fled through the staircase around 2:30 a.m. after being confronted. Police suspect he entered the home earlier that night, as there were no signs of forced entry. CCTV footage captured him on the building’s sixth floor at 2.33 am. Investigators, including the Mumbai Crime Branch, are working on the case, which is being treated as dacoity and trespassing.

In a social media statement, Kareena Kapoor Khan urged for privacy, describing the ordeal as “incredibly challenging.” She appealed to the media to avoid speculation and respect the family’s boundaries during this difficult time.
