Amritsar, November 26
A snatcher, involved in two separate thefts targeting Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), sustained a bullet injury while attempting to flee from police custody in Amritsar. The incident occurred after the accused, identified as Suraj alias Mandi, snatched a rifle from police personnel and posed a threat, prompting police to act swiftly, said Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav.
