The History
Founded in 1950 by Abdul Karim Nadiadwala, carried forward by Sulieman Nadiadwala, and now led by the visionary Sajid Nadiadwala, the banner has grown into one of India’s most beloved production houses. The third-generation filmmaker unveiled a striking new logo that pays homage to the legacy that shaped Indian storytelling—featuring the timeless silhouette of a grandfather holding his grandson’s hand, symbolizing the generational continuity that defines NGE. Set against a celestial backdrop, the design features a golden halo encircling “75 Years”, a tribute to the studio’s timeless presence.
“As we celebrate 75 glorious years, I carry immense gratitude in my heart—for our audiences, collaborators, and the incredible team that stands with me,” Sajid Nadiadwala shared. “This milestone isn’t just about the past. It’s about honoring our roots while looking ahead to the stories still to be told—stories that will entertain, uplift, and inspire.”
The Legacy Continues
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is known for its genre-spanning hits—from Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi to Highway, Tamasha, Super 30, and the National Award-winning Chhichhore. The studio is also home to India’s biggest comedy franchise, Housefull, now entering its fifth installment, whose trailer was also revealed today as part of the celebrations.
Looking ahead, NGE’s upcoming slate includes Baaghi 4, an untitled Shahid Kapoor–Triptii Dimri romantic drama, and several ambitious projects—all produced independently without studio partnerships, further asserting NGE’s pioneering spirit.
