Sanjeev Arora takes charge as Punjab Industries and NRI Affairs Minister

Chandigarh, July 4

Sanjeev Arora formally assumed charge as Punjab’s Minister for Industries and Commerce, Investment Promotion, and NRI Affairs at the Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh on Friday. Accompanied by his family, Arora was welcomed by several cabinet colleagues and senior government officials. Among those present on the occasion were Ministers Balbir Singh, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Baljit Kaur, Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, and Laljit Singh Bhullar, along with MLAs Rupinder Singh Happy, Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra, and Narinder Kaur Bharaj.

Top bureaucrats including IAS officers Kamal Kishor Yadav, Amit Dhaka, Surabhi Malik, and Senu Duggal, as well as IPS officer A.S. Rai and State Information Commissioner Harpeet Sandhu, were also in attendance. Speaking after taking charge, Arora pledged to carry out his duties with “utmost devotion and dedication,” vowing to leave “no stone unturned” in promoting industrial growth and serving the people of Punjab.
