Punjab Minister Mundian inspects Bathinda Tehsil office, ensures timely services

Punjab Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Hardip Singh Mundian conducted the surprise inspection of the Tehsil Office in Bathinda, reviewing operations at the Sub-Registrar Office, Fard Kendra, and other branches. During his visit, Mundian emphasized the need for both the buyer and seller to be present during registration and instructed that CCTV cameras be maintained in working condition at all times. At the Fard Kendra, he called for timely delivery of services to all visitors and highlighted the importance of offering basic amenities, such as drinking water, and proper seating arrangements for people.

Mundian also visited the registry branch, stating that the state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, prioritizes transparent, efficient services for the public. He assured the media that citizens are receiving services in a time-bound manner. Mundian confirmed that officials had been given guidelines to address any shortcomings. He also interacted with people seeking services, reassuring them of the government’s commitment to resolving their issues without delay.

Punjab Small Industries Development Board Chairman Neil Garg, Sugarfed Chairman Navdeep Jida, SDM Balkaran Singh Mahal, and Tehsildar Divya Singla were present during the inspection.
