Chandigarh/Sri Anandpur Sahib, November 21 Punjab Education,Information and Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bains has launched a digital platform aimed at supporting millions of devotees expected to gather at Sri Anandpur Sahib for the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The initiative, AnandpurSahib350.com, includes a mobile app and website designed to offer real-time updates, event information and logistical support. Bains said the platforms were intended to give the Sangat a “safe, organised and spiritually fulfilling” experience.

Bains said the effort, implemented with the Rupnagar district administration, reflected the Sikh principle of Sarbat Da Bhala — welfare for all. “This will allow the Sangat to focus on devotion while we take care of logistics,” he said, urging visitors to use the service. The portal features event schedules, live streams of commemorative ceremonies, Nagar Kirtan routes and historical material in Punjabi and English. It also helps users track parking availability across more than 30 designated areas and three Tent Cities, which offer real-time capacity updates and booking options.

A dedicated “Tractor-Trolley City” has been set up about 1km from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib to improve access for pilgrims. Transport arrangements include 65 mini-buses and 500 e-rickshaws running round the clock between parking zones and main gurdwaras.

Health facilities include 19 Aam Aadmi Clinics, eye camps and multiple check-up stations offering free medicines, diagnostics and emergency services. Ambulances have been positioned across the city for quick response.

Sanitation measures include 26 mobile toilet vans with hourly cleaning and bathing facilities. CCTV cameras, LED screens and a public-announcement network will provide traffic updates and safety alerts.

The website is now operational, and the mobile app is available on Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Bains said the state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, thanked volunteers and appealed for collective support to make the commemorative events a success.
