Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state on April 14 to unveil two major projects. Modi will inaugurate air services from Maharaja Agrasen Hisar Airport and lay the foundation stone for an 800 MW unit at the Deenbandhu Chaudhary Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar. The Prime Minister will also attend a state-level event marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
