New Delhi, July 7

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the United Kingdom as early as later this month, with a primary focus on finalising the long-pending India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), senior officials said. The visit, if confirmed, would come close on the heels of National Security Adviser Ajit Doval’s recent trip to London, where he held strategic discussions believed to have laid the groundwork for Modi’s upcoming visit.
