Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday declared that the people of Bihar have already made up their minds for another term of the NDA government, asserting that “Phir Ek Baar, NDA Sarkar” reflects the state’s mood. Addressing a large public rally in Araria, Modi took aim at the RJD-Congress alliance, saying their internal rift has become public. “Even Congress leaders are now admitting the truth about jungle raj and how Dalits and backward communities suffered the most,” he said, adding humorously that after the results, RJD and Congress leaders would “end up pulling each other’s hair.”

Modi said that the people of Bihar, especially its women and youth, represent the state’s spirit of progress. “Your dream is my resolve,” he told the crowd, urging voters to protect Bihar from those who once pushed it into jungle raj.

Launching a sharp attack on the RJD’s rule between 1990 and 2005, he said the period brought “15 years of total ruin.” “No expressway, no bridge on the Kosi river, no tourist circuit, no sports complex, no medical college. Not a single IIT, IIM, or National Law University was built. That era only looted Bihar and destroyed the dreams of an entire generation,” Modi said.

Outlining the NDA’s roadmap for development, the Prime Minister said the government’s mantra is education for all, healthcare for all, income for all, justice for all, and irrigation for every farm. He highlighted the Kosi-Mechi link project, aimed at reducing floods and ensuring irrigation for farmers, and mentioned the National Makhana Board and record MSP for jute farmers.

Focusing on women’s empowerment, Modi noted that over 1.4 crore women have received ₹10,000 each under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana. “Bihar’s women are now the strongest wall against the return of jungle raj,” he said. The rally concluded with chants of “Phir Ek Baar, NDA Sarkar,” as Modi promised to continue working for a secure, developed, and self-reliant Bihar.
