Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday assured the nation that those responsible for the deadly Delhi blasts would be brought to justice and “will not be spared under any circumstances.” In his address, Rajnath Singh expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and said that the government was taking the incident with utmost seriousness. “I wish to assure my fellow citizens that the country’s leading investigative agencies are conducting a swift and thorough inquiry into the incident,” he said.
The Defence Minister added that the findings of the probe would soon be made public, emphasising transparency and accountability. “Those responsible for this tragedy will face the full force of the law. We owe it to the victims and their families to ensure justice is delivered swiftly,” he said.
Security has been tightened across the national capital following the blasts near the Red Fort, which killed nine people and left 20 injured. Investigative teams are currently examining possible terror links and gathering forensic evidence from the site. He said the government was united in its resolve to prevent such acts of violence. “India will never bow down to those who try to disturb peace and harmony,” he stated firmly.
