Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that all MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) congratulated and saluted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, calling it a symbol of firm political will and a decisive response to attacks on India and its people.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Shah wrote, “‘Operation Sindoor’ is not just a reflection of political resolve but a demonstration of India’s hard-hitting reply to any aggression. The entire nation is proud of the bravery shown by our armed and security forces.”

According to sources, a resolution passed during the NDA parliamentary party meeting also highlighted key diplomatic victories for India. These include the United States’ designation of The Resistance Front (TRF) — responsible for the recent Pahalgam terror attack — as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT).

The resolution further noted the joint declaration at the BRICS summit condemning the Pahalgam attack, describing it as a diplomatic success in countering Pakistan-backed terrorism.

The NDA praised Prime Minister Modi’s “extraordinary leadership during a time of crisis,” stating that his unwavering resolve, foresight, and determined governance had not only guided the nation but also inspired a renewed sense of unity and pride among citizens.

The statement also commended the exceptional courage of India’s security forces during both Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, recognising their commitment to safeguarding the nation. Condolences were offered to the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
