Mirabai Chanu narrowly missed securing a bronze medal in the women’s 49 kg weightlifting event at the Paris Olympics 2024, continuing the nation’s streak of finishing just off the podium.
“Mirabai Chanu is 6th Indian who has finished 4th in her event at Paris Olympics. A total of six medals missed because of 4th + 1 gold because of disqualification,” reported Republic World.
