Shimla, May 14
In the conflict between India and Pakistan, the Indian Army has given a befitting response to Pakistan. Every Indian is saluting the valor and bravery of the Army. As part of this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing Tiranga Yatras (Tricolor Rallies) across the country. In Shimla, under the banner of the Citizens for National Security Forum, BJP members and common citizens took out a Tiranga Yatra.
The yatra began from the DC Office and passed through Lower Bazaar and Mall Road, concluding at the Ridge Ground in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue.
The event was organized with the support of the BJP Shimla unit. A large number of ordinary citizens, social organizations, trade associations, women’s groups, youth groups, student organizations, and various religious institutions participated. The yatra was led by former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur and BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal.
Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur said that this yatra was held in honor of the Indian Army. The Indian Army has repeatedly forced Pakistan to bow down, and this time too, has brought it to its knees. He praised the Army’s strong retaliation following the Pahalgam incident. Thakur added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing in every field. He emphasized that the war has only paused, not ended. If Pakistan carries out any terrorist attack, the Indian Army will respond in the same language.
BJP State President Rajeev Bindal also saluted the Indian Army’s response, saying that the Army has given a strong reply to Pakistan and will respond with even greater strength if Pakistan attempts anything again.
