Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur, on Tuesday said that Punjab’s efforts to improve the well-being of its elderly population are progressing rapidly under the “Our Elderly, Our Pride” campaign. As part of the initiative, officials will visit households to gather health-related information about senior citizens. Dr. Kaur highlighted the importance of health surveys to ensure better care and improve the quality of life for the elderly. “The government’s primary goal is to honor the elderly and make their lives more fulfilling,” she said, adding that caring for them is a moral responsibility.
