Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini met Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on Thursday for discussions on public welfare programmes, ongoing development projects and the state’s priorities for the coming year. A brief statement from the Prime Minister’s Office(PMO) said Saini had called on Modi for a review of government initiatives. The Chief Minister Saini later posted on X, describing the meeting as an opportunity to seek the Prime Minister’s “guidance and blessings”. He also presented Modi with a Panchajanya conch, which he called a symbol of “righteousness and truth”, on behalf of the people of Haryana.
Saini said the conversation covered a wide range of welfare schemes and infrastructure plans currently under way in the state. He added that Haryana’s governance agenda continued to be shaped by Modi’s oft-repeated political maxim — “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” (together with all, development for all, trust of all, effort by all). The state, he wrote, was moving “steadily and rapidly” towards progress and improved public services under this direction.
