At least five people were killed while 14 others injured after a landslide struck the route to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Tuesday afternoon. Officials said the landslide, triggered by continuous heavy rains, hit a stretch of the pilgrimage path leading to the hilltop shrine at Trikuta. Rescue operations were immediately launched, and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, according to officials.
