The Delhi Police have arrested a man from Rajasthan’s Mewat region for his alleged involvement in an espionage network believed to be linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), officials say. The suspect, identified as Kasim, is accused of receiving training in spycraft during visits to Pakistan and assisting Pakistani intelligence operatives in gathering sensitive information related to India’s military infrastructure.
Kasim, a resident of Bharatpur district, reportedly travelled to Pakistan twice — once in August 2024 and again in March 2025 — spending a total of around 90 days there, police said. He is alleged to have photographed and documented troop movements and vehicle convoys around the Alwar military station in Rajasthan. The site is among several high-security areas believed to have been targeted by the suspected spy network, according to media reports.
