Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired a high-level review meeting on Thursday to assess damage caused by recent disasters. Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police from all districts joined the meeting. The Chief Minister directed officials to prioritise the safe evacuation of nearly 700 pilgrims stranded in Manimahesh, confirming that all travellers were safe. He said additional Indian Air Force helicopters would be deployed from Thursday to speed up the operation.
