Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, on Wednesday accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party of consistently aligning with forces that seek to divide the country and making anti-national statements. “Supporting JKNC’s anti-national and anti-reservation agenda in Jammu and Kashmir or making anti-India statements abroad has become a habit for Rahul Gandhi,” Shah said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Expanding on his remarks, Shah further said that Rahul Gandhi’s comments reveal the Congress’s strategy of deepening regional, religious, and linguistic divides. “By discussing the abolition of reservations, Rahul Gandhi has once again exposed Congress’s anti-reservation stance,” Shah added. He further emphasized that the BJP will ensure that no one can abolish reservations or compromise the nation’s security as long as the party remains in power.
