As many as 20 people have been injured after a private bus veered off the road and plunged into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district on Tuesday morning. The bus was on its way from from Jahu to Mandi when it fell into the ravine in the Patari ghat area amid heavy rainfall that has lashed the region since early morning. According to initial reports, three 108 emergency ambulances have reached the spot and the injured are being transported to Nerchowk Medical College. The officails fear that two individuals may still be trapped beneath the wreckage of the bus. Rescue operations are ongoing.
